Commentary on the poem, FREE:
Substance Criticism:
The poem was written using a contemporary style of expression with regards to the central
theme as well as presentation. The content and delivery has a sheer similarity with the famous Free-style novel “The
Catcher in the Rye”. With efforts on the emphasis of free expression, solitude and fantasy, the poem would be able to
draw readers into a direct and plain realization about facts on daily nuisances. The poem was able to establish a common mark
with its readers by the use of familiar details such as the usual activities individuals mostly perform. This sense of familiarity
leads the reader to unite with the poet’s emotion of being in stagnation of the moment’s perceived reality. As
the poet leads the reader to a three-stage process on the idea depicting his emotion, the readers are also led to the emotion
of self-acceptance. This was caused by the unity of writer-reader formulated at the start of the poem made to have continuity
by the directness and simplicity of declaration of the poet’s imagination. Thus, the reader was allowed to agree with
the writer claiming the poet’s emotion to be their own. The poem was also able to deliver clearly the difficult idea
behind freedom. Although representing an idea that is purely the poet’s own, a sample of such a pattern of thinking
may be gained from the rest of the common population. The poem was successful into freeing the mind of the reader from all
hypocrisy and deceit that occurs within oneself. The poem was able to transform itself from a composition of words and imagination
to a therapeutic and deliberating declaration.
Technical Criticism
I am in no position to judge the preferred structure of the poet due to barriers such
as culture, personal style and preference and artistic strategy.

Commentary on the Album Review:
The Review was able to discuss the musical and philosophical aspect of the Album by clearly stating the drive and purpose
of each musical movement in the composition together with the significance of the lyrics content. Although, much weight was
given to the musical structure and it’s impact on the compositions. The content was merely described with a glint of
emotion as perceived by the author. Any further criticism on the impact and relevance of the song message was not given. Perhaps,
this was the author’s deal to provide a balanced presentation on the Album without causing any off-tangent remarks that
might affect the salability of the composition. On the other hand, poetic remarks
was provided for the musical movements describing the emotion these movements may cause the listener. Beautifully chosen words
to represent the musical movements, the writer had been effective in providing supplementary details regarding the performance
of the musical creation that is clear to the reader and at the same time, undeniably moving.

Commentary on the following artworks:
·
Dragon
·
Diaigi Sketch
·
My samurai
·
Rei
Reading on the line structure and general appearance, the first two creations
depict a positive emotional state. The first allows the feeling of adventurous, bold and somehow childish fantasy. The lines
were sturdy, straight and clear. The eyes of the dragon were rather playful than mysterious or grim. The second sketch gives
a calmer and more melodious emotion. Indicated by the stance and pose of the drawing, the creator seems to be in an ecstatic
form of fantasy with all the life-driving emotion with it considering beauty, happiness and poetry. The third creation appears
to be very negative represented by the brisk, deep and sudden shadings. It promotes
aggression as indicated also by the stance of the created character. The fourth creation symbolizes a profile of the creator’s
personality. Psychological assessment would be best given at this type of artwork but then, the critic is not licensed to
provide even the slightest psychological opinion. Basing on the original artwork of Rei Ayanami, the eyes of this artwork
gives a sharper, more serious and less dramatic look that the original was known for.

Note from the Critic:
By no means, the critic does not wish to offend the artist. Pardon me for whatever offensive comment I have committed.
Note from the Artist:
No offence was taken from anything that was said. However, it is felt that the critic was a little generous with use of the
words 'artist' and 'artworks'.
